Claddagh Quay Hotels Limited
Company Overview
Claddagh Quay Hotels runs three hotels in Galway, Sligo and Limerick, each with a leisure centre, function rooms for weddings and conferences, and a bar and restaurant that locals actually use. Between them the hotels have just over 400 bedrooms and host somewhere around 180 weddings a year.
The group began in 1994 when the Galway hotel was bought from the previous owners and refurbished room by room. The other two followed over the next fifteen years, and we are now adding smaller properties in other towns.
We employ about 350 people across housekeeping, front office, kitchens, food and beverage, leisure and events. A good share of our managers started as room attendants, porters or commis chefs, and we would like that to keep happening.
