About me
Control testing against the annual audit plan, findings written so that business owners actually do something about them, reports that separate genuine risk from box-ticking — that is where my week goes. I moved into internal audit in 2018 after training in statutory audit, and have covered financial services and retail since. Presenting to department heads doesn't rattle me, and I've learned to do it without turning the room into a courtroom.
